Salinas property owners can settle tax debts and title paperwork at a one-day service event
Puerto Rico's Municipal Revenue Collection Center and the mayor of Salinas will hold a "CRIM en tu Municipio" service day in the town on Friday, October 23, 2026, where residents can handle property paperwork, request tax exemptions and arrange payment plans for real property debts, elvocero.com reported.
What residents can do on the day
The event takes place at the Ivana Zayas building of the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Salinas, the outlet reported. Residents can request exemptions for principal residences under Law 83 and benefits for veterans, and they can ask for account statements, value certifications and negative certifications.
The center will also offer payment plans and agreements to settle real property debts, according to the outlet. On the property records side, the service day covers data updates, segregations, groupings, changes of owner and appraisals.
Residents need an appointment to attend. The outlet reported that they can book one by calling 787-824-3050, extensions 2306 and 2694.
